They could not provide many of the supportive programs and services that are of such great benefit to their young patients and their families without involvement from generous volunteers. This experience will change your life for the better. Simply reading a book to a sick child, assisting in hospital playrooms, playing board games, working in the patient care units, outpatient services, the emergency department, child life playrooms, business offices, gifts shops, volunteer resource offices, outpatient clinics or guest services escorts - all of these things will have a direct impact in the life of a child.
